Sun Apr 15, 2007, 8:48 AM
Finally got a new computer. Although a lot of stuff have been lost, I'm sure I can get up to speed. Time to resume work.

Retired...

Sun Apr 8, 2007, 5:59 PM
Well, my old computer officially died. According to the dude repairing it, my hard-drive definately breathed it's last... along with all the hardwork and artwork I had on it... :(
That means that all the half done trades and gifts have to be done... all over again...
I'll try to get a new computer by next week, funds permitting.

My computer died...

Well, not exactly sure what happened but I wont be able to use my home computer for a while... I pray that it isn't my hard-disk that failed... all my hardwork and artwork... makes me cringe just thinking about it... :(

I can't believe it!

Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter died while filming 'Ocean's Deadliest'. He was my greatest animal documentary hero... and now his gone...
The only consolation we can get is that he died while doing what he loves most.
He may be gone physically, but he will live on in our memories...

It's a whole new world out there...

Art and drawing has never made me feel so helpless before... until today. My fellow colleagues and I were told to create pre-staging conceptual roughs for a certain set of scenes.
Well, it wasn't too hard... save for the fact that I can't seem to think of many good ideas while my colleagues churned out piece after piece of detailed sketches. I did a couple of scenes, but decided not to show anyone because mine is really bad compared to theirs. Being new there doesn't give myself a reason to hand in crappy stuff.
My ego shrunk to it's tiniest today... I perhaps had been too confident in my abilities. I must quickly learn more and improve if I were to survive...
But I'm glad I'm exposed to such high standards, truly has widened my perspective and perception to drawing.
